“Randy Dorman has nearly 50 years in the music industry.”
My goal. . . to make your song great!
My career has spanned nearly 5 decades, I began playing guitar at the age of nine and was gigging in clubs with local bands before I was of legal age, to my work today helping all types of artists just like you, achieve their dreams of having their songs recorded by some of the world’s finest musicians in Nashville, TN such as the Kenny Rogers Band.
I have received both state and international success for a regional hit on the radio, called “Her No’s Knows Better But Her Yes Won’t Let Her” with a band I was with my senior year in high school as well as having my songs played on Korean Airlines “Morning Calm Show” amongst giants such as Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour and Earl Klugh.
I am best known for playing guitar with Kenny Rogers
My journey to Nashville was via a gentleman by the name of Roy Clark who invited my family to watch them record Hee Haw. I liked Nashville so much I stayed and landed a job with a band called the Brass Monkey. A few years and bands later I did a session that Kenny Rogers was producing and shortly thereafter was hired, that was in September 1977.
